What is PRSSA?
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is an organization designed to help students gain exposure and experience through membership in the field of public relations. It is a combination of school, work, and volunteer service.
PRSSA at West Virginia State University
The Charles R. Byrd chapter of the PRSSA at West Virginia State University (WVSU) has developed a student-run public relations firm called Tower Communications. Members of the PRSSA in conjunction with its student-run firm implements public relations-marketing-advertising programs for campus, local, state, and international clients. Members also participate in national competitions, as well as attend regional and national development conferences.
