To appeal a grade, the student must send an e-mail to the instructor within two weeks of the grade having been received. Overdue appeals will not be considered.
Students will not be given an incomplete grade in the course without sound reason and documented evidence as described in the WVSU Catalog. In any case, for a student to receive an incomplete, he or she must be passing and must have completed a significant portion of the course.
Missed activities may be made-up only with instructor’s permission. Arrangements should be made prior to missing the activity. Notification to the instructor prior to an absence will allow the student to be eligible to make up the activity. Notification may be by written note, voice mail, e-mail or in person.
